Are the first E90s in America yet?

Anyone have any info on this--have any of the new 3-series made it to the states yet? The reason I'm wondering is because I ordered my new 325i and the dealer told me they might be able to modify one of their orders to match the way I ordered it so the dealer would get it faster. But they said I could get it as early as May, or as late as July. I checked the status on the BMW owner's circle and it says it's still awaiting transport. Does anyone know how long it takes to be transported to a distrib. center and then how long it takes to be shipped over on a boat? I just ordered it about a month ago and I told myself I wouldn't mind waiting but now the waiting is starting to kill me!!!

Here's just an update...I talked to my dealer today asking about this and she said the majority of the first shipments are already at the ports here in the US. However, the dealers aren't allowed to actually sell them until I believe the first week of May, so they are just sitting there until a few days before the actual release date (then they'll be shipped off to individual dealers). Dealers are scheduled to get their demos soon...from what I hear, like next week at the latest. I guess the main thing is the new E90s are somewhere here in the states!

Mine is at the Prep Center now. It showed "In-Transit" for about a week and a half. A BMW rep from BMW NA told me that the official BMW policy is that the cars are not to be delivered until May 6th but that the decision is actually up to the individual dealers if they want to let them out early. Most dealers would love to get them out as soon as they come in. Money IS money and the sooner they get their cash the better.

Good Luck,
Jack

Those two are the longest. Mine took two week from 111 to 190.

BMWAustin: I'm just curious. I noticed in a lot of posts you refer to the status of your car by these numbers from bimmerfest (http://www.bimmerfest.com/faq/status.html). I was just wondering if you were actually able to find a way to track exactly what number your car is at. On the owner's circle, they only give you the generic five steps: on order, awaiting transport, en route, at preparation center, at dealership. It would be really cool to see this with the numbers, but I looked and I couldn't find anything...
