Missing Left Stalk Menus

I don't get the "check and key" menu using the left stalk on the steering wheel.

I'm trying to turn my daytime running lights off and set the door locks so they'll lock automatically when I start driving.

Why is the "check and key" menu not come up with the left stalk?

I really want to turn the DRL off.

Ignition has to be completely on (with the red and orange lights) to enter this menu
Partial ignition sent to another menu

Is there more than one ignition mode? I tried accessing them while driving.

You can access the menus with the engine running, as long as the car isn't moving.

Enable DRLs on E90 LCI

Hi there,

I am trying to activate daytime running lights on my 2009 E90 320d LCI with iDrive. I cant find the menu on the BC computer with the 'check and key' symbol to enable this setting.

I have come across this post from a while back that suggests that the car has to be running (ignition on). I have tried all the options but no luck.

Any ideas?

Many thanks
