I have heard plenty of good things about Tom Hatem Automotive... http://www.hatemautomotive.com/index.htm. Customer service could be desired but their expertise and work has been highly recommended. Don't forget that we are priviledged to have TC Kline in town as well (when he's not in CA). Couple of options to start pursuing. Good to hear of another 1er in Columbus. Don't think I have really seen another 1 besides mine (Powell area). Keep us posted.

Sorry for my ignorance, but who is TC Kline?

Not yet seen your car around town. I work in downtown, and live on the northeast side. There's a 1er convertible in my neighborhood, but I've still not seen another one on the street.

They are a distributor for JB3's.

I live in Dayton and I'll be going to Cbus to have TC Kline install a full suspension. A friend of mine that races his M Coupe swears by it.

RED135 - I live up in the Powell area, work out in Marysville and travel down to Worthington, Dublin, Polaris areas. I have only seen one other 1er and it had dealer plates on it (BMW Financial driver?). Keep me posted I would love to meet up after you get your JB3 installed... I have been pondering getting one too. Drop me a PM or post up your experience after install. Thanks! :thumbup:

Welcome spk74 - did you trade your Cooper in for a 1er? If so, what did you end up with (model, color, options)? I still haven't seen any 1er's around this part of town. Congrats!

I picked up my '08 AW 135i on Saturday and have been driving up and down the two rivers ~300 miles in 3 days. Good times.

The car had over 500 miles on it already, but still the deal was too good to refuse. It has ~every option other than comfort access and the automatic transmission.

Very nice - she's a beauty. Look at you already sporting winter wheels... you just got the car!

Good move though. I put winter Dunlop's on my stock wheels and will get performance wheels with summer tires this spring. I toasted my tires in less than a year (b/w autocross and two track events). Loving the car though and am sure you will as well. I'll keep an eye out for you. PM me if you have any questions. Tim

Still in the break-in period (800 miles). Probably won't pull the trigger until March. The two names given in this thread have been a huge help. Assuming either of the tuners can do it, I may save money by going with the pin-out version of the JB3 (even counting the cost of the install).

Just FYI that I e-mailed TC Kline and they indicated that they wouldn't install a JB3 because of the warranty issue. That said, I will compliment them on a prompt reply.
