Can someone post the results once these have been installed. I have the AFE intake and would like to know if it lowers the engine temp with these installed.

Mine either shipped out today or will tomorrow, I am going to do a video for everyone on how to install Stage 2 RR intake. I'll keep everyone up to date.

Although the install for the scoops is a relatively easy one I used these instructions for reference while installing a set on a fellow 1er owner's car and they were very helpful.

I thought it would take a little longer, but am confident that I'll be able to do the whole install in 15 or so minutes when I finally take the time to do them on my own car.

Regarding the scoops themselves: VERY nice fit! They went in easily and even in black they look great behind the grills! I didn't have the time to go for a ride in the car so I can't speak on their performance.

Thanks again for the DIY!

I just did the install, it's a bit tough to get the grill out, but once I figured out how to get the first one out, the second is easy. The fit is nice, but the screw that come with the scoop seems a bit too big to fit in that corner. The plastic is preventing it from going in straight. The sheet metal is soft and I bend both of the tab where the screws go into. I've jiggle the scoops and they aren't moving at all, so I guess it's secure enough.

Gonna test it out tomorrow!
Thanks RR

and get the Plenum out already!

Anyone got a more indepth DIY I have tried following the manual and I can't seem to get it on properly?

The photos on the DIY is a little a bit dark and I cant figure out how the scoops is placed inside the airvent.
