What is the lifetime of 162 wheels?
Hi,
Very new to wheels. How many miles can you do on tires before you have to replace them? Im more interested in the 162 lifetime. I know it depends on driving style etc....but what are we looking at? Thanks Skimo |

The 162 refers to the wheel. You must be asking about how long the Bridgestone RE050A runflats will last? With a UTQG (uniform tire quality grade) of 140, probably not very long, especially if you drive hard. I'd guess between 10000 to 12000 miles. Replacing a 255/35-18 RE050A runflat is $311 each (Tire Rack)

2. The tire life really depends how you drive your car. But avg, I'd guess 20k miles for conservative drivers...

What about Michelin?
I notice some 18" wheels are Michelin Sports.
What's the UTQC on those? I've just ordered the 18" wheels as an option, and I'd rather not think about the cost. I just think they look good. Mark |
