Bugs!?!!

It was a beautiful, crisp summer day -- so I broke open my piggy bank, filled up with gas and went for an all-day drive in the country.

It was fantastic: Deep, shadowy forests. Acres of rich cornfields. Decreasing-radius turns. And ...

Bugs!

When I got back, the front of my 135 looked like a mass-suicide site for cicadas, butterflies, moths and who knows what.

Is there anything -- short of a complete wash -- that will get this crap off my car?

That stuff sounds pretty kick-ass.

Do you have to re-wax if you use it?

That I don't know... I used it before my first wax.

Before I could put my first coat of wax on the new 1, it got covered with tree sap. I tried 4 dif products, none worked well (or at all). The shop said to try this stuff... I sprayed it on, waited 1 min, wiped with a cloth 3-4 times... tree sap gone. I had a few bugs, they came off before I could wipe (it disintegrated them).

BTW, I thought the spray on & rinse instructions were laughable, but it turned out to be true. Zero effort with this stuff.

Groits Speed shine w/ a microfiber removes bugs very well w/ little effort, and doesnt strip your wax. I use it all the time,...really is a miracle product!

Griot's Speed Shine all the way; especially if you've already waxed and/or sealed your car.

Here in Oregon, critters are omnipresent, the only way to avoid insect suicide is to not drive over 35mph. After walking the little monster, I first take a wet, warm, 100% cotton wash cloth, wipe the large chunks of carapace/legs/heads/wings/guts/eggs with that, followed by SpeedShine. I'd like to try his new Waterless Car Wash as well, not exactly certain what it's called.:iono:
