Thanks for sharing.

It is obvious that the F90 was a huge improvement in performance over the F10.

It is also obvious that the delta in performance between the F90 and the G90 is non-existant, and therein lies the quandry.

After 6 M5’s dating back to my first M5 which was an E39, I will not be migrating to the G90, at least not this iteration. I will happily stay in my current 22’ M5C as there is nothing compelling me to make the move.

A G90 with performance that is measurably better than it’s predecessor could tilt my mind in another direction. Unfortunately, this is not that car.

The F90 is a phenomenal vehicle, tuned or not. It's perhaps the last gas-powered M5 to hit the road. I can't even imagine a built M5; it's such a unicorn.

Even if I can get comfortable with the styling, the less-classic interior design and function, and in the coming years of imminent depreciation that's gonna make the G90 affordable to my budget for a daily, I don't think it will actually fit in my parking spot in my garage. I may have to upgrade to a lightly used LCI F90.

Car and driver has recorded slower times.

Quite sad - the car is slower, had no noteworthy ring times or records and basically has no redeeming quality in my view. It may sell well to first time M5 customers.

LOL, as a 7 Series owner (a classic yester-year model) it would be a great M7
