Nobody likes sedona??
So it sounds like your 2009 monthly allocations are about the same as in 2008?

apparently, I have not had a single person order sedona red. And we have not gotten much interest in the one we have, dunno...

Hard to say about the allocation, overall bmw is cutting back US production across the board on all models. So I don't see the 1 series production increasing significantly

Dave, to help us a bit with the details...
-- to what production month do these allocations apply? And
-- by what date (approx) would you guess an order needs to be placed, after which you will configure the cars?

(I'm asking because, along with finding there's a lot to learn about the BMW product line, the whole ordering/buying process is a bit novel for me. Thanks.)

Good, too many Beamers driving out there makes me feel less special

  • These cars are september production cars weeks: 37,38,& 39
  • as far as ordering a car, lets say you wanted the week 37 car, which is the 2nd week in september. To be on the safe safe side you want to order at the latest the week before. That still leaves maybe a couple of days to adjust things if you had to.
BTW, i guess I read it wrong, but we actually have 3 135i cpe allocations & just one 128cpe. Which interestingly enough is still keeping the 128i a little more rare, much like 08'
