I will be going but probably friday... I wonder if they will show the 1 series with full performance package... The only thing I know there will be new nav system in 7 series so we can play with it maybe and see how it works... There also should be the "face lifted" 3 sedan/touring

I will be there on Trade day on the 23rd and again on the 28th with clients.
Hope there is a lot to do... can't believe I am going twice. Pavelitto - BMW are not attending, so no 1 series. The new Focus RS and Lotus Eagle are getting launched though. The chav in me is looking forward to seeing the Focus, (nearly bought the last one, but put off by the Max Power interior) it's a travesty that it doesn't have 4WD...

They had their own "Plaza" at the last one in 2006 !
http://carenthusiast.com/motorshows....event&event=20 Very disappointing that they've given it a miss this year |

I sure envy you fellas, such a great venue for shows as the Excel and immediately accessible via the DLR from the Tower Bridge and Tower tube station. I'd like to think our major American cities could be so well arranged when we're 500 years old.

Being a tube user in London over the last 15 years I cannot say the London tubes are efficient. The only good thing is they run pretty much everywhere.
They are not cheap either! Quite interested to see what the new Vauxhall Insignia VXR will be like.

I used the tube yesterday, was fine but VERY HOT and humid.
Motorshow was average really, Insignia looked like a Hyundai from the rear IMO and a bit naff. The stars of the show for me were: - Nissan GTR (I am in love with a car) - Alfa Romeo models - 2 of them were near super models... - Alfa Romeo 8C - most beautiful car at the show - Brabus Rocket - WOW - Focus RS - looked cool, will be better in black or white No pics... just buy this weeks AutoCar Going back on Monday with clients... think I will be mainly found in the outdoor enclosure eating the Black Farmers sausages, and drinking a few glasses of Veuve!

Never liked the GT-R Looks so plain and the engine noise is non existent.
I hope the models in hotpants make up for it.

I went yesterday, am and going again Saturday night (but that's to see Squeeze, not the cars ). Pop onto the ACS stand - they have a 135i cab with their tuning bits on - including their £4500 tuning package! It does include a warranty and a speedo that will show the 187mph (that's what he said, not sure I believe it...) top speed. Group buy? ;-)

I must admit the black Nissan GT-R looked the piece, Battleship grey looked too plain.
Couldn't see the Insignia VXR only the plain cooking model. Yes saw the white ACS 135i, looked very nice, would love to go for that tuning package but for that money...... Highlights for me were:- Brabus Bullit Merc C63 AMG Sabrina the model on the Quad bike stand The Beer tent - Aspinall cider helped the day go smoothly. Lowlights The Honda show - Great car stunts accompanied by horrendous patriotic singing and side show by some fat bloke and his team.
