Anyone running the H&R Coilovers?
I would prefer to go with a monotube design, but I'm worried that I might have buyers remorse because there is no rebound or dampening control as on the KWs.
Anyone with these coilovers that can comment on the ride stiffness? |

I've tried to find the same opinions and information...no luck so far. Everyone seems to either be running just springs or KW V2 coilovers. I'll keep watch and post here if I find anything out.

Here is an article from Eurotuner about their installation.

Thanks Scott. I've seen that. I want to know some first hand driving thoughts. H&R springs have always been of great quality but I know of nobody that has the coilover kit on the 1er. Before sinking money into new suspension, I would like to hear the experiences of others with the same set-up. I don't totally base my decision on these experiences but they do provide some good information. When many people share first hand knowledge, trends appear that can generally paint an overall picture of the product. Thanks again for that link though.

H&R Coilovers
I had read that article previously and I wasn't sure if it was widely distributed. I went a diffferent route with the TC Kline's and I am very happy with the stiffer set-up. I drove an E46 M3 previously and a little bit harsher ride is not a big issue. The coilover set up virtually eliminates the body roll on the car.

I'm very interested in these coilovers as well. Let us know how the ride quality differs from stock.
