question on size

hi all,
Still waiting for the car - supposedly it's in the campbelltown waiting bay awaiting delivery this week.

My question is if anyone knows whether the front seat flattens out (forward or backward folding) sufficiently to accommodate a package 220cm long x 40cm x 40cm with the back seats folded.
I understand that with the rear seats folded that gives about 165cm through to the boot.

Thanks.

Hey all - very funny!!
I bought a book shelf and (gulp) don't have adequate means of transporting it and didn't want to fork out the delivery fee.

Picking up the 135 this pm - hope to post some pics for ya. Anyone else going to Canterbury approx 4:30pm?

Way - keep hounding!

After rearranging the seating, it looks like the max size parcel to fit will be 2.4m x 30cm x 70cm. The front passenger seat has to recline back to get something that length in, removed headrest, and you have to prop the package up to get it over the reclined front seat, losing space from the 36cm high pass-through.

Looks like those extra lanky cadavers fit, but not your *cough* "bookcase" *cough*.

I think that is the issue, I haven't hounded them at all! All communications have been initiated from them. I think they just think I am not in such a hurry and are taking their time. Anyway they called me yesterday to tell me that I can have it by Friday morning, but I am kinda busy that day and Sat (have to go interstate) so I will just wait till Monday...

Kind of off topic but all this reminds me. You know what BMW stands for in Russia owing to the Russian mafia? Boevaya Mashina Wymogatiley. (Combat Car for Racketeers)

Just picked up the 135. I think I might have to use the old merc to pick up the package. The front seat doesn't seem to flatten out enough. I couldn't remove the front head rest.

Of course it can, you just need to mod it a bit.
