NAV Screen Glare??
Just curious if anyone with the NAV - iDrive has noticed any glare on the screen?? I am definitely ordering NAV so I want to know if this may be an issue.
I am a little concerned about this. I have the E92 and glare is not really an issue with the double hump and the way the screen is set back. Thanks |

My eyes are very sensitive to glare. Right now without tinted windows it's pretty hard for me to see. I'd love to hear others opinions and I will post more thoughts as i have more experience with it. I've driven it about 50 miles total.

Sometime in Jan/Feb one of the UK guys took delivery. I asked him the same question about glare.
He claimed it wasn't an issue. (Although it could be argued that the UK never really gets sunshine per se :wink

I had the sun behind me on the way to work this morning. No glare and I was able to see the screen just fine. This should not be an issue.

I'm very impressed with the total lack of glare on the NAV screen. Even being hit with direct sunlight it's fine.......
I expected it to be an issue before I got my car, but it's not.

You can manually move the screen to your desired tilt angle, and it will open to that angle.
That being said, I've never needed to adjust it; I've never encountered any glare. The screen has some sort of matte/anti-glare finish to it that is quite effective. |

No glare here, and you can see it fine with Polarized sun glasses
