Bluetooth pairing issue leads to dead phone

My CA tried to pair my Razr V3 when I picked up my car. We were able to get it paired but it wouldn't let me answer a call although the radio would mute and we would hear it ring. It was almost like it would continue to try to pair and my phone just started acting like it was powering up then back down then power up and back down. Finally my phone went dead and we decided to try tomorrow. Well, I charged my phone up some, tried it again and now my phone will not come on, won't let me charge it, nothing. I have an older Razr and I swapped the sim card and things work fine on the old phone (phone works, haven't tried the bluetooth). I still cannot get my V3 to do anything.....any thoughts?

I've had a Razr lock up like that before. I can't remember exactly what I did to get it going again, but I think I had to remove the battery, and then hold the power on button down for a few seconds. It took something more than just removing the battery I'm sure.

Also, try taking the battery out and then plugging the charger in and powering it up. I honestly can't remember what I did to get mine going again, but I remember it doing this same thing. It has something to do with the battery dieing in the middle of a blue tooth sync IIRC.

Update:

I took my Razr V3xx in to AT&T and my warantee expired 5 days ago They suggested I take it to a repair shop to see if they could get it going. They confirmed it wasn't the battery and they tried to "hook it up" to their diagnostics I guess to reload the software and get it going.....no luck. They then took the phone apart and heated up the circuit board (they said this sometimes works) to fix it up....no luck. I went and told my CA that my phone got burned up. Nobody can explain it, the repair guy was baffled. Any ideas?

Now I am considering an iPhone or a Blackberry curve....decisions, decisions.

Coincidence that it went while pairing, unless there was a problem with the phone already and the extra power draw caused it to finally go. My daughter's Razr V3 is paired with my car with no problems. I have my phone's profile paired too.

Technically, the phone got fully drained while pairing. I charged it some and took it with me to run to the store and the phone died while I was gone. I know it is coincidence, but what could have caused this to happen?

During the pairing, the background of the Razr kept going to white and then back to the original background. I guess I could go try to pair my Razr V3 (backup phone) and see if I blow it up too

Bad phone is my best guess. Did you try to pair to any other device recently.. including another phone?
