Finally got it on April 26th

My 128i!!!!
I love it... i have about 300 km now.... and it is an amazing car!!!
I took some pictures on the short trip to pigeon lake.
I noticed that I do not have the "Year One of the 1" engraved by the
start button... but I still love it~

nice!
good to see SOMEONE use the extra cup holder that has been the subject of so many posts

I am 90% sure my car won't have the engraving now. SO upset.

Love the black on black interior. I made that color change last minute after seeing the pics roll out. Congrats!

Welcome to spring in canada. Three weekends ago it was 20 C and sunny. Last weekend it was -10 C and snowing. and then this past weekend it was 15 C and sunny again.

cks0213, congrats on the new car. I guess I'm not the only 1addict in edmonton that has taken delivery any more. I guess there will be even more in a few weeks.

Anyone else notice the missing engine temp gauge in that gauge cluster?
How do you know when your engine is properly warmed up to drive, or even if it's running hot or about to overheat?

Nice going BMW!

But don't get me wrong, congrats on your new purchase. Enjoy it!

I think the engine temp is only available on the cluster when you order the M-Sport package.

It's a 128 so no oil temp gauge.
If there is warm air out of your vents, the car is warm.

Congrats on the car! Can't wait for mine. Stumbled across this thread about the menu option if knowing your temperatures is important.

So I was asked to do a short review......and here it is.

Exterior:
I love the looks, tho I don't have the M bodykit, it looks very good.
The thing I don't like about my car... is that I don't have XENONS
and I plan to change it in the future. If you are getting a 128i coupe... seriously get a xenon with your option. I believe 128i is the only model of the US/CANADA 1 series that does not come with XENON standard.

Interior:
Pros:
The leatherette is great. Handle is meaty and has a great feel to it! Everything is by you when you are driving~
Cons:
There isn't a very good place to put your wallet or cell phone.
I just put my cell phone in one of the cup holders and put my wallet on the space on the door. Other than these... it's alright!
Also! the 9V plugins! are by the ash tray which you have the open up. I have an radar detector so that thing stays open all the time.

Performance:
I mean it's my very first sporty car with quite an amount of horsepower so I don't have a problem with it. Only thing it tho the steptronic is not the most responsive thing. It shifts a bit slowly...
Also... this car isn't the one where the seats suck you up when you floor the gas pedal... if you're looking for that... I guess go with the 135i.
Note: i'm not saying it slow

Best part:
-Thick meaty sterring wheel
-Sound system sounds great (not the premium HIFI)
-Good engine sound
-Good performance
-Great looks!

Well I guess that's it for my short review... and as I read it over...
I think it isn't the greatest review... but I hope you'll be satisfied.
