Another Aussie review... includes a 1addicts.com mention, and my photos!

Excerpt from the article:
"If that's not enough, a tii-inspired BMW Performance range is also available for the 1 Series Coupe and hatchback models (more here) but the exclusivity and chance to customise comes at a price. Photos shown hereabouts include a couple (others can be seen at the 1addicts.com forum) with the BMW Performance range parts fitted to an Alpine White car." And guess who's photos have been used in the review!

ipr = intellectual property rights. i just thought, cozza that since you have published them to this site first you should have ipr to those shots and they must ask either 1addicts or you. very unprofessional to plagiarize like that!

"Poor man's ticket to 335i" .. whatta load of crap! When did anyone spending close to 85K (on a decently speced 135) been considered poor?

Gold! Yeah, I must say I don't agree with a lot of what the review says - "Noddy car looks"? WTF?

Reads very very similar to one of the articles read out of the US. Can't find it just now.
Similar format. Ratings the same / similar. Same sort of conclusions / thoughts. And exactly how are the ratings concluded. 3.5/5.0 for safety, for a platform rated 5 stars Euro NCAP. Admittedly the 135 hasn't been tested, but doesn't add up. The "poor man's 335" statements also allude to naive comments made in other reviews that belong in the social pages, not a motoring forum. I know atleast 2 recent purchasers of 335's who would've taken the 135 if it'd been around at the time. And money is not a thing they worry about. It just seems that people latch onto a thought or concept, and can't let it go, no matter how illogical it actually is. The 335 is obviously the car we REALLY would like to get, but we settle for the 135 because of price. Poor us! I could go on, but can't be bothered.

The IPR of a photograph vest with the subject (model) unless he/she signs it over to the photographer. In the case such as this, the IPR vest with the photographer.
So Cozza is the Corey mentioned in the article...btw, when I was working for a certain very large Australian organisation, we looked at buying carsales. But in the end a certain rich family and his company made their move before us. It was my only encounter with with this company and I was impressed with how they went behind us to do this deal (they were talking to us as well at the same time to sell some of their assets to us to tie it all together). Srewed, but clever. |

"Noddy car looks" is taken straight out of the fifth gear "cayman vs 135" comparison test. Right at the end, the guy with the beard (don't know his name) states the exact same line "noddy car looks". Looks like she copied more than Cozzas photos...hehe
