Front passenger side seat belt stuck

For some reason my my front passenger side seat belt has been stuck for the past week. I can't get any slack out of the belt and it wont even retract. The only time someone road in the front was my first weekend of having it. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Actually that can be a good idea for a stuck seat belt. If the belt is completely unwound, sometimes a very fast and really hard outward jerk on the belt (followed by immediate slack) will actually release the locking mechanism and allow it to retract again. It won't hurt it, because it's built to take the force. Try it a few times and see if it releases itself... nothing to lose.

Take it to the dealership. If the retractor is broken, they'll replace it.

Definitely take it to the dealer. It's defective, and you want it replaced. Wh knows what will happen when you need it to function properly.

My passenger side belt seem to lock too easily, and my wife is constantly getting locked in by the belt from any small ripple in the road.
