The bitch clip is dead... i conquered it (Update)

Well after being frustrated about not being able to find a damn bitch clip i took matters into my own hands. I realized that the bitch clip has an uncanny resemblance to a deformed wire hanger. Can you believe it?? I fabbed up my own bitch clip. It took about 10 minutes and works like a charm! Its not pretty but it does the job. At least I am sure no condensation will get in my lights. What do you guys think? HAhahaha sweet victory at last!!! I totally should have done this from the start.

I had to do it man. Considering the amount of time i have spent looking for the damn clip, driving to the parts department 3 times, and looking online, the bird is the least I could do!

It wasn't too bad, the only thing that i had a hard time with was the passenger side cover. It was a PITA to get it back into place.

You'll be okay. Having thinner hands would be a great help. They ony take about 15 minutes to install, even with tat clip.. go give it a shot.. just don't touch the lamps glass...

Thanks. I'm definitely going to get it done.. one way or another. Your pictures actually inspired me to do so! They look 100 times better than the amber colored originals.

Well I got my gp's in and Installed!!! It wasn't too bad.. the hardest part was getting the passenger side bulb into place!! and getting the cover back in. I didn't think the clips were too hard to pull off and on. Just the tab at the bottom of the cover on the passengers side.

my knuckles are definitely sore!! lol!!

same here. i thought i lost the little bitch a couple of times, but it was just half popped loose.

once i decided to pull out of the garage and get some decent sunlight, it all went alot smoother.
