GP Thunder 8500K vs 7500K (Angel Eyes)

The 8500k are only very very very slightly bluer. It's hard to tell with my eyes. You almost can't tell the difference. As far as brightness, they look the same. I was very surprised.

I have a question, when running the car with the DRL's on does the middle of the inside rings light up as well? or just the 4 rings themselves?

Just the rings when the xenons are one. Parking lights you get the center I believe. These are 7500k pictures.

I can see a slight difference as the 8500k bulbs are slightly more purple. In person you would be able to see the difference immediately I think but with the camera adjusting for the amount of light they seem the same.

sorry to ask again, but i didnt get a response in the other thread:

why are the inner rings brighter than the outer ones, is it because of the one bulb in each headlight thing that Larry mentioned? And is there any way around it, i know for e46's you could just buy a kit so that's always an option right? TIA

Hope this explains. The outter ring, bigger ring, is on a longer path and I am sure the rings are lossy therefore dimmer in color.

Those pictures are true to form. It's hard to see the difference when standing in front of the car. Yes, the 8500k are slightly bluer.
