Halogens vs. Xenons

Is the only way to get xenons in canada through the Premium pkg (2700$) eek! (if so im in a conundrum price wise ) Also what difference do they make on the car, heard some pretty neat commentary on efficiency & adaptive steering! Are they really that great?

Any pics showing the diff look on them out there?

FYI: I'm shopping the 128i

According to the brochure I have, I'm pretty sure you can add them to your 128i as an option without getting the whole premium package.

I got the brochure from my dealer and it's Canadian...yes. As usual, this brochure doesn't have prices but it does show the Xenons standard on the 135i and optional on the 128i. Ask your dealer about specific pricing or wait for the configurator to be up on the www.BMW.ca website. Also, you could try building a 128i on www.bmwusa.com and checking how much the option is there...maybe add 20% to that price for a Canadian pricing approximation.

I wouldn't buy a car without xenon headlights. They are amazing! I drive back country highways a lot and they illuminate so much, especially the high-beam xenons!

My first experience with xenons was with a Passat W8. I was sold instantly.

If you look at the order guide sure, they're optional, but only as part of the premium package which includes the dreaded sunroof.
