New to the board, will have lots of questions
Hey Guys, been reading up on your posts for awhile on here and was wanting to introduce myself. Plus why does it seem there`s such a lack of love for the 128i? Sure the 135 is a `monster´ but when you start pricing it out you hit 50k$ pretty fast. At least in my opinion, here in Canada it seem like the 128i is the way to go in terms of price and practicality.

Of course... The 128i with 230HP & 200 ftlb torque will be more than enough for 99.99% of all real world public driving situations. :iono: However, if you're on this MB, you're more likely to be an enthusiast who wants the ultimate for your "ultimate driving machine" and/or who may also autoX or track the vehicle - so the 135i would meet those wants & needs best. Personally, I love the vert and the 128i ragtop will be enough for me... |

For me it was more... what the 135i gets you for the price. For one, the m-sport suspension was an absolute must. To do that on my own would cost at least $2000 installed.. for reasonably decent suspension. You also get a lot of nice little features, many of which are not mentioned by BMW. Then you factor in the better engine.. and yeah. But no, absolutely, the 128i is a great car.
But like carnut said... this is an enthusiast board, so many of us really didn't think twice about it
