Anybody else having problems with Sirius?
If you have Sirius in your non-iDrive car, the Audio button gives you a choice of what your choices are. I normally have:
Tuner Satellite CD USB AUX (USB and AUX get combined to "Ipod" if you have an Ipod plugged in) About half the time, I do not have the "Satellite" option, even after restarting the car. Is this happening to anybody else? I wonder of my Sirius module is not plugged in all the way or is defective. :iono: |

Once, but it happens in other open places as well. I thought the same thing, that it didn't list it because it coudln't acquire a signal. I pulled out of the garage, shut car off, removed key, opened/closed the door, inserted key, restarted. Still no Sirius.
It's almost like a loose connection. I'll check out the sirius module tonight. I believe it's in teh trunk compartment, and can be seen when you remove the trunk floor panel, adjacent to the BT/Assist module. |

Well it is certainly odd. I do not have SatRad, but I haven't had any issues with the iPod except when parked with the engine off. It has switched to radio for no apparent reason. I figured the iPod rebooted, but it was fine.
How often does it go out? I would be wary of taking it to the dealer just yet, you will probably be wasting your time. They have no parts and no idea how to fix these things. :-/ |

Mine did that once too, kfiducia.
Btw, my Sirius has left the building. Totally gone now, checked connections, and they are fine. No fuses blown. Looks like I'll be the first service call with my 1er. |
