who's getting the first 1er in Canada?

I'm not sure if this was talked about but I was really curious.
So who is getting the first hands on their 1ers in CANADA?
I got into the March build so I'm getting my 128i sometime in the late April, but is there people who get it before or who already have it? Thanks.

One of the cars delivered to Waterloo was pre-sold, so someone there will be getting theirs real soon now.

I would have been picking my car up on Saturday had I stuck with the Sedona red 1er. It was a January production build and has been sitting at the bus depot here in Calgary for like the last couple of weeks. I'm currently waiting on a March build SGM 1er with expected delivery on April 30th.

I haven't heard from anybody who are picking up there's this weekend ... although I find that unlikely.

Because BMW is not releasing any of the cars to the buyers until the offical 1 series release date. The car I had originally put a deposit on arrived in Halifax on February 16, and was then transported to Calgary via CN rail. It's been in a holding area since its arrival.

Anyone getting possession of their 1ers this weekend will have either a January or February build.

I might head to my dealer tomorrow and see if they are doing enything special. I will have to check out the delivery bays for any 135's.

I guess the real question is who, among the 1addicts forum users, will be the first in Canada to take deliver of their car. I don't know how many BMW dealers there are across Canada (maybe 60+?), but even with all the posts here we still do not have a representative poster per dealership, much less one for ever 1er that is being imported. So, the odds are good that the first 1er could go to someone who isn't even aware of the 1addicts.com site.

If they are doing anything beyond what they told me, which was nothing, would you please post for me and I'll head down later in the day.

Okay I'm bored...but I had to check. There is 38 canadian BMW dealers listed on the BMW website. You would think anyone that is getting a 1 series today would have ordered long ago and they would be very excited...therefore doing like us and surfing this site. I hope the people getting the first few cars are like most of us and going nuts waiting. It better not be some stupid non-car loving person that got bought "cute" little car for a going shopping in!

Very nice, congrats. It's so nice to see the 261's after looking at the US spec cars for a week.
Enjoy.

It sucks, I don't like how "surprised" it looks... and I don't like the trim inside.

hahahaha

it doesn't suck. congrats to a happy owner!

I used to say white cars are terribly ugly and they look cheap and unfinished... but the 1 series cleans up really well!
