Good cloths?
What kind of cloths do you guys recommend for drying your car and doing minor touchups, such as cleaning up some dirt you see on the body or wheels somewhere? Currently I'm using Terry Cloths but they leave way too much lint everywhere. I'm looking for a good lint free cloth I suppose.
Is what I'm looking for MicroFiber cloths? I've used them before but to be honest I have no idea what their main purpose is for. |

Microfiber is all I use. The waffle weave drying towels are used for drying after a wash, are super absorbent AND don't scratch. I use other MF towels for buff and polish applications. There are several source vendors online and I've found PakShak and Detailers Paradise to be my favorites.

Definitely waffle weaves...pakshak or autogeek. I've got some from both and they are great. I'd suggest getting 2 and using 1 as a first pass to pick up the big stuff and the second as a second pass to dry off the finer droplets of water.
I also like the smaller waffle weaves for doing the windows. |

Oh yeah, and for general purpose stuff just get some various good quality micro fiber towels (same sources as above). I always use the ones with the silk edging.
