Carbon buckets side bolters- wrinkes

The car has 49 miles and I just noticed some wrinkles on the YMB driver side bolster. Is this normal and has anyone else experienced the same issue ? Pretty annoying to say the least!

Leather is the hide of an animal. Its a natural product. Its supposed to look like that. That seat is going to drive you nuts in about a year.

Agree but bolsters on my F82 are nearly perfect after 26k miles, no wrinkles. Wasn't expecting this. Read somewhere that a wet towel + heat gun can help with this.

Take it in to the dealer. Raise hell until they swap them out for new seats.

They don’t need to swap out the seats. The dealer should order a new cover. I had a similar situation with my X3MC. Leather on passenger seat was wrinkled. Took about 3 months to get it but was perfect once swapped out.

4k miles and mine are perfect! Take it to the dealer as soon as you can.

at 49 miles this should not be an issue. check with the dealer.

but do try to avoid sliding against the bolster or putting weight on it as you get in and out the car. more so if you're a bigger guy. i have to perform some gymnastics getting in and out of my gt3 without touching the sides of the seat or the wheel.

Thanks man. Not a big guy by all means. 5-10, 158lbs. Went to dealer today, my service rep took a pic and will send to BMW. Let's see

Hey m3rxn this is sort of off topic but I saw your post about ordering off oem wheel exchange, have you had any issues with those wheels since like bends or cracks? Or is the quality good?
