Where to buy tires for lowest price?

Do you guys have any company names that you would like to share. I bought my wheels from the states and saved alot of money, would like to do the same with the tires.

The only company I know today is tirerack.com.

I agree. Tirerack is where I go first. However, when my A4 needed new tires and "the rack" was out of stock for the tires I wanted (Eagle F1 All Seasons) I had to go somewhere else. Ended up ordering from Treadepot.com (prices are higher but ground shipping in the states was free). Overall I had a very good experience there as well, but Tirerack will continue to be where I go first.

Any particular tires you are looking for? If so, let me know your email address and I will be happy to quote them for you.

I have gotten tires and wheels from these guys before. They were the cheapest and shipped quickly. Hell, one time they even got me a Falken tire they did not have yet with a special order and were still cheaper than TireRack.

The last place I bought from was off the Discount Tires Direct web site (NOT the same as the Discount Tire retailer web site). They ship international.

We don't actually. Many places like to advertise low prices on things they don't really have available. It's just too hard to police. Sorry.

Seems like a great site! Low prices in comparison to tirerack. However, their selection of tires seem small. They don't seem to carry the Bridgestone RE-01R in 18s.

Anyone know of any other discount tire online sites?

Guys, yes tirerack is great....but I have found local tires shops very willing to compete and done this at least 3 times.

For example, tirerack's price for my required set was $685 to my door. Then you have to pay someone local to install em. Figure another $70ish? So total ~$755.

However, I called the local tire shop and requested an apples to apples comparison. First price they gave was $790. I told them I was price shopping them against tirerack and advised I'd like to do business with them, but to make it work they need to sharpen the pencil. The shop came back with an offer of $710 installed out the door, a 10% discount and lower cost than if I went direct to the tirerack.

So my advice....Guys, use tirerack to help you price shop, but give the local guys a fair chance to compete!!!

If you shop hard enough, you can find prices lower than TireRack but I'm willing to pay a little extra to support a vendor that does so much for the enthusiast community. TireRack does a great job of supporting the BMW CCA and the Teen Street Survival Schools and that's worth a couple of extra bucks to me. Not trying to change anybody's mind, just sharing an opinion.

Now having said that, if there was a substatial price difference...all bets are off .
