why I ask what are size of those two hex screws securing battery terminals?

The standard procedure is to try one wrench or socket after another until you find the one that works.

Did you figure it out or still on the fence?

Most BMWs require something between an 8mm - 13mm socket. So it could be 10mm, 11mm, 13mm, 8mm, 9mm….if you have a set of sockets…try those sizes.

Does it look similar to this?

Unless they changed it for this generation it's 10mm.
