Question Murphys law strikes an 08 X3, any ideas appreciated

Last year my friend bought an 08 X3 with 140k miles. Other than a few minor repairs (oil gasket leak, mickey flange) runs beautifully. Then about 4 months ago the driver side back door locked and wont unlock. I couldn't fig out how to fix so took to BMW of N Houston. Their fix to get the door panel off while closed required removing most of the back interior and cost wise would prob be more than car worth. Ok, so now its a 3door no big still great car. Yesterday something cracked and the window slide down into the door so now cant raise the window or open the door to get to the panel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day.

Here is a link to a great e83 forum. You'll find lots of answers here. This forum is for 2018+ vehicles.

PS. Sounds like a window regulator.
