Here comes another ED question...

And this question is mainly for the ones who have deposits on their dealers for ED.

Do you know how much is the invoice ED price? How much are you paying total ($1,000 more than invoice or more?)?

when are your orders going to be placed and when will u be receiving the car?

Orders will be able to be placed when everybody else will be able to order a US delivered car. There is no differentiating when you cnn order.

Nobody knows ED pricing yet.

$1,250 over ED invoice is more like it, from what I understand. Some may accept $1,000 so I guess it will depend on the particular dealer.

I am looking to pick up the car in Munich first week of August 2007. I'll put a deposit down and give the dealer my specific car info in the next month or so. I am hoping to have a copy of the Confidential Pricing Sheet before I do so but I guess there is no way of knowing when this will be leaked.

If you look at the base ED price for the 335 coupe, it is listed at $34,740 which is slightly more than $6000 less than US base. Adding even $1500 to that for dealer profit puts it at $36,240 which is more than $4000 less than US base price.

Im expecting base ED price for 135i to be ~$5k less than US base MSRP, so $30k + 1500 + whatever options + destination + TTL.

335 coupe ED info from here:

If the percentages of the 3er carry over invoice will be 92% of MSRP - $28600 x .92 = $26315 for the 128 and $34900 x .92 = $32110 for the 135.

ED prices are 93% of U.S. delivery (for the 3er) so, $24475 ED invoice, $26600 ED MSRP for the 128 and $29865 ED invoice, $32460 ED MSRP for the 135.

Plus $775 Destination Charge.

fyi - I just did a quick check on the 5er and they use the same percentages there, so maybe the odds are good they'll do the same for the 1er.
