I would like to suggest the Pirelli Eufori RFT's. Bought them with new AEZ Xylo 8/17 - 225/45. The Pirelli have good low-noise level with a good handling at all conditions.

Don't know much about the power of a 325, but the 17" Eufori@ can handle the 340 NM torque of my 320d in every condition. Which year your 18" are manufactured? Afaik the first series of all RFT-Manufacturer have been revised. Most of the tyres had problems with grip and / or had sawtooth-forming during the first 5~8 thousand miles. My first set of Bridgestones have been changed by warranty. |

my bridgestones are on my later 2004 build Z4(18"),
pirelli's on my early 06 325 (17") the 325 doesn't have enough power to cause traction issues, it's just cornering grip, but I guess they should last longer than the re50's with a treadwear number of 220 vs 140 hopefully we'll get those diesels over here soon, I want one for a commuter car! |

Driving a diesel has to get used to. It reacts completely different to a gas-eater. If you have a stick shifter you don't need to switch as often. Under 2000 RPM it's al little bit easy-going, but then the turbo forces you into the seat.
Took me about 3000 mls to get used to, but now i won't miss this pessure. |
