front bumper parking sensors wiring....

prepping to remove my front bumper (2013 335is e93).

i haven't done this before and have watched numerous videos of how-to.

can someone explain how to disconnect the parking sensor wiring and the fog light wiring.

are they just male/female connectors?

does disconnecting/reconnecting the parking sensors throw a code?

thank you

The connectors are as you mentioned, make/female connections on both.
Push a tap down and the pigtails pop off the sensors/bulbs.

If you turn the key to the ON + position and try to turn on fog lights or go into reverse, you will get errors for sensors/lights.

Once you plug everything back in, you won’t have dash errors but you’ll have fault memory errors in the modules. You can clear these errors.
