WHAT IF THE 135i LOOKED LIKE THIS?

A fellow s2000 owner just stated on the forums that if the 135i looked like this he would buy 10 of them. Its amazing how different this looks.

Thoughts?

Those headlights make the car look really old. But I agree that the headlights are the weakest point of this car.

I ma sure 1 refresh will look a LOT better in few years.. # sedan is about to get refreshed, that should give us a glimples of things to come. Also, that huge 4 door coupe concept & X6 should point us to direction BMW is going in..

I don't like it at all...

And I drive an e46 ZHP, which that reminds me of, but the headlights do not match the car...

The headlight housings look too narrow and the bonnet seems too stretched.

Dont like it. Way too narrow and featureless. I agree that the 1 Coupe's standard headlights arent the most attractive but that is not an improvement.

Don't like it at all, lacks any creativity. Good design moves forward not back. On that note; I believe that many of you that don't like the headlights on the new 1er may change your minds when you see it in person, or give it some time to grow on you. Personally I like the direction. Take a look at the front of the new X5, it has a little of the "fish eye" quality. I think it's cool and a unique direction in the industry. Just one future 135er's opinion.

i think the best, cleanest, solution is to have the "bowser" hood, with the eyelids molded to the hood, looks so sick..., and doesnt look cheap like eyelids...

there was a photoshoot of a e46 coupe with a custom one, looked great...
