Yep. Shocked BMW could make a color that poor.

I brought the boss, She Who Must Be Obeyed, into the den to view the Tahiti Green pix (knowing that the 1er cabriolet is designed for the distaff demographic). She went yuck, and compared the color to something that'd been through one too many bleach cycles in the washing machine.

It maybe ugly dressed in this colour, but don't forget, sometimes ugly can mean bautiful. Only sometimes. From my point of view, I find this colour somehow interesting and "cool". Beware of what "cool" might mean...

Hmm...it looks photoshopped to me. In the first picture, the mesh in the front bumper is tinted green (not black, which is what I would expect) and the shadowline trim is clearly the same green as the body of the rest of the car. In the third photo, the reflections off of the rear bumper look too surrealistic, and where the sideskirts/bumper ends and meets the ground the green color looks WAY too vivid and contrasting for real life. In the fourth photo, the 120i badge is clearly tinted the same green color as the body.
Or maybe, my screen just needs to be calibrated/I am going blind. |

Does anyone else think the two antennas look strange? So glad the coupe has the radio antenna in the rear glass and the gps/cell antenna on the top.

Uh guess I'll join the minority in that I think it's a great color. I want my next car to stand out and this distinctive color would be perfect I think. The tint reminds me of the BMW Individual Petrol Mica... though the color it self is much lighter. I love it!

Look at the third picture. See the entire outline of the rear bumper where it meets the rest of the enviroment? The green looks WAY too vibrant and contrasts with everything else in a fake, surrealistic manner. In my opinion, these seem to be very unprofessional photoshops of the cashmere car. Just my two cents...but I'm no professional  |
