How to make my car smell like leather...
Is there any type of cleaner or something that will make my car smell like leather? I'd like to mask smells without the car smelling like flowers, pine trees, etc. I used Lexol leather conditioner but it didn't smell like anything at all.

What kind of smells are you trying to mask? If it is smoke, good luck. The best way is to give the interior a good cleaning and eliminate the smells. This includes carpeting and headliner. Once the leather is clean and conditioned it will give off its natural scent.

Poorboys Leather Stuff smells a lot like leather and last quite a bit...
Its a cleaner/conditioner so its a one step. On a relatively new vehicle it should be enough to clean, and give you the smell you'e looking for. http://www.poorboysworld.com/leatherstuff.htm http://www.autogeek.net/pbls16.html http://www.detailcity.com/poorboys-leather-stuff.html |

I don't think you can get it anywhere but on-line. I thought it was worth the extra $$$$. I really like the smell. Good luck!

I got it online at that zaino store. thanks for the suggestion. it came out to about $17 including shipping. It had a comments section so I told them their shipping was somewhat overpriced and it had a website section so I mentioned e90post.

Oh and I completely agree with the Z-10 smelling like leather. It's REALLY nice to the leather also. Softens it right up!!

not a cleaner but....
this is what i use once the new car smell wears off. an air freshener that smells just like leather imo. i tuck it under my drivers seat for the aroma but out of sight. http://www.smartcart.com/sensia/cgi/...item_num=84581 car jar (leather scent) by yankee candle. many hallmark card stores carry them. ----------------------------------------- as for a leather conditioner that smells very much like leather... this is my favorite leather product... auto magic... http://www.dealergoodies.com/page300.html (scroll down on list to info #58). ~ very low sheen, not sticky and easy to use. |
