Absolutely stunning...

That's already the color I wanted and I was thinking of doing the M5 rims but these are giving them a run for their money...err... my money I guess.

Except for being too big, that rim looks fabulous on that color coupe.

19's too big? The car has gobs of power and torque, you could go with 20's and the car woudnt even break a sweat.

It's more of a matter of clearance inside the fender wells.

I think 18's would be plenty but 19's would be cool... but it eventually gets to the point where the tires look more like electrical tape than a tire.

Once the tire/wheel set-up gets over 19" (and even that's pushing it) the whole look goes south in a hurry.
It becomes out of proportion with the car- visually awkward and all you really see are these big rims on a small car.
Screams community college.

It's not about sweat, it's about maximizing performance. 17's would probably be best in that respect for the 135i.

19's are more expensive, heavier (poorer handling performance), ride harsher and have a higher incidence of tire/rim damage.

The only reason I could see to put them on is because of desired appearance (something not up my alley).

But 19's usually end up looking silly/poseurish/fanboi/punk on most cars in my opinion.

I must admit, as prejudiced as it may be, the "community college" comment above cracked me up because it seems so spot on.

As someone else said here: 19's are for show, 18's are for GO!

With the exception of X5's, I've never seen a car that looked better with 19's than 18's.

I totally disagree, 19's are perfect for daily driving. There are plenty of light 19's going around. The 18's on my 335i looked shameful next to my beautiful 19" M6 reps.

Going with a profile lower than 35 is just an accident waiting to happen (broken spine, pothole, curbs, etc...)

this is kind of a sweeping generalization without consider the overall diameter of the wheel.

are 19s perfect for a honda crx? probably not, cause youd either be rubbing on the entire fender or running like a 10 series profile tire.

I think the size of the tires on the stock 135i 18s are pushing it, moving up to 19s would be too far imo. also, what kinda roads are you on? I know 19s wouldnt last around here without denting/bending a rim or egging a tire.

1st, good job with the pshop. 2nd. Yes you can order the M rims, additionally, not instead of, sorry. Well that's been my experience in the past anyway.

There will be plenty of aftermarket replicas that will definitely cost you less than what you would pay for the bmw oem's.

I will also be going 19". This car reminds me in many ways of the E46. When I think back to the E46 M3, the stock 18's were.... pretty damn boring. The 19's were perfect. Get 19's if you want, opinions are like...
