f32 retrofit rear cam stopped working

So I washed my car tonight.
When I pop it in reverse now it only shows a black screen with guiding lines.

Any idea what’s wrong with it? I tried hard reset (cable pull) and a soft reset on the MMI box. No avail.

The reverse lines tell me the device is working. Not sure what’s going on.

Sounds like the MMI box is doing its job so it's surely got to be either the camera has died or a cable has come loose somewhere. Most of the aftermarket cameras I've seen have a short cable that then connects to another longer cable for the run to the front of the car.

I'd start with taking the interior trim of the trunk lid off to take a look at the wiring in there.

Yeah turns out when I had a freeze i had to reset the device and somehow tugged on the cable too hard. Issue resolved!
