I found a good use for me for saved trips in ID7. I create a loop that includes some fun turns and roads and save that as a trip. Then when I drive that loop I can use the M lap timer to track progress. It's not perfect since the trip will give info including the drive you have to do to your entry point. But it's better than nothing.

Now I need to find more nearby detours I can take to have fun. My usual method of "whatever way that guy in front of me goes, I'm not going" doesn't always lead to fun roads.
