Those^ are Volk racing wheels, hottness! I love the red on the lip, though it's starting to become a little too trendy for my tastes. I saw a black A4 today with orange trim around the single frame grill and orange on the lip of the wheels. Weird.

WOW, I thought I was freaking out for a second when I saw the title of this thread. Welcome Sweeper!! One of the few s2000 owners I mostly agree with. BUT Actually, onehots2k's 135i will be:
Alpine White Two-Tone Interior M3 CSL Rims(i saw a Z4M with these and I have to get them) AND I'll be picking her up in Germany. I will dearly miss the s2k! When Vtec hits that car plays NO GAMES. Keeping both is not an option. Hopefully a next-gen s2k will bring me back. I had so many signs that the I need this little Bimmer to fill the spot of my automotive self-indulgence for the next 3-4 years. A nice 530i blew past me on the way to work this week. The next day I saw a dirty M6. Dirty or not those pipes were clean. And on Friday an '99 5 series was on my ass on a very curvy on ramp. My s2k was hugging this curve and he was impressively not far from my bumper. (a normal person would be mad) Btw, I've been down here in south FL for 2 weeks now and I've seen 4 M6's and 1 M5 Whats your dream 1er coupe Sweep??

Man, I hope the CSL replicas look good on the 1 coupe. The only 1 series I saw them on was in the "official red" hatchback thread. Cant find anymore

If BMW prices the 135i anywhere near the price of an STi or Evo, they better be prepared for a Rice EXPLOSION
There are several people on the S2ki board watching the 135i news and if the price is right we're going to jump ship and buy 135i's. $32k is the right price for all the rice boi's who grew up in the 90's with civics, bought Eclipses GTS, moved on to WRX's, and now into STi/Evo's. All along the way we lowered them 1 to 2 inches to remove the wheel gap, rolled fenders to fit 245/18's in the wheel wells, and removed stock radios for our favorite Alpine's with 1 or 2 amps connected to 10"-12" subs. Personally, I'm not totally conviced yet. I think they added to much crap to a good thing trying to please everyone. I like a more spartan car. Probably why I own an S2000. But, they have the concept right. A small, 2 door, RWD, coupe with a big motor and what I really like is the 135i is understated, unlike the STi/Evo. |
