Regensburg
FYI - the 1 series is built in Regensburg. Here's a link to the plant's website (and lo and behold, it's available in English).
Also German cities often have been granted 'city crests' or 'stadtwappen'. Regensburg's stadtwappen is my current avatar. Here is the avatar as an attachment: |

Currently Leipzig 335 sedans are shipped and sold in the US. Go to E90Post and search for a poll where various owners of E90s have voted as to where their car was produced. Many US E90 335s were produced there. BTW, the last time I visited a large BMW Center in Atlanta, GA the majority of their 335 sedan inventory were produced in Leipzig.

Interesting, I'd most definitely want to do ED and take a factory tour if my car were built there. Beautiful manufacturing facility, and quite original in concept and function.
