What do YOU do when you are laid off? Where do you go? What do you do?

Just wondering.....
So with the economy and all I've been reading about well I wouldn't say alot but a good majority of people are selling there cars, houses, ect... cuz they got laid off. So my question is what do you do when I mean when you have like studied as a young adult and have gotten your major/dream job, and get laid off? I mean what happens what do you do? Where do you go to? I mean you can only sell soo much right? So what happens?
And to the people that aren't doing good, wish the best for you guys!
This thread isn't supposed to be picking on anyone btw it is just well I'm curiouse what do you do?
With the economy and all this kind of reminds me of the movie, Fun with Dick and Jane...

got my WARN notice and my last day of work is March 5th. I just bought a PS3 getting ready for the big day. I guess I'll be catching up on NBC's must see TV. Shit it's been so long since I've watched prime time tv. What's good nowadays. Is American Chopper still on? Smalllville? heroes? What have I missed?

According to a friend who just got laid off, a big pot of Gumbo goes a long way to feed yourself when unemployed - That is if you are single and have to only worry about one mouth to feed.
