N55 Vacuum Leak near crank pulley

I did a smoke test on my 2011 335i. The smokr seems to come out near the crank pulley. Any ideas of what could this be. The car has a lean engine code and cuts off when ever at a stop.

Smoke could travel through the pcv system, then into the crankcase.
