FedEX sucks

Not sure if this belongs here, but just want to let you guys know FedEX sucks.

I order some light bulbs from Bimmian.com, actually talked to their Canadian distrubutor on the phone, had a pleasant chat, and he told me that he would sent out the order ASAP. Sure enough, it was shipped next day by noon and a tracking number provided.

So, I tracked it online, and it was on the delivery truck Thursday morning at 2am! and scheduled for delivery Thursday, but I waited all day long and nothing. Tracked it later on Thursday evening, it said "no delivery attempt was made. Ship next business day"
Here's the kicker, the package was driven back to their depot Thursday night, WHICH IS located FURTHER TO ME then from Bimmian to me. WTF? if you can drive that far, why not just deliver the goddamn package?

It's 5:10EST on Friday and their delivery cutoff is 5:30. Look like I won't be getting the package, and since it's a long weekend in Canada, the earliest I may, if the FedEX guy feels like it, get it Tuesday at 5:30pm.

I feel your pain Joe. Check out my story. I found out later that the driver had an outdated map so my street wasn't on it.

Just had a similar experience with Fedex. Ordered a new Ipod and it was delivered today. I live at an apartment so every other time I've had something shipped they just leave it at the main office and I pick it up when I get home. This time though, they decided they'd leave it on my door. A nice $300 Ipod sitting in front of my door. What were they thinking?

I actually talked to their TO guy (the office is in Whitby or Oshawa), I was like hey I'll just drive there and pick it up, but he told me that FedEx is usually pretty fast, so I said sure why not. but Yeah, next time, I'm driving there myself to pick it up.

Hey Danny, just read your story, yeah, stupid mofos, I got my package finally, but I'm still miffed at their inability. The local postal service (like the USPS) does a better job for local mails/packages than FedSux.
