Have had jet black and black sapphire side by side in my garage.

The dollar difference just isn't worth it. JB looks superb when it's kept up ... and BS looks cruddy when it's not. How much difference in maintenance to look sharp? About zero.

Best way to see the difference is go to a dealer and look at the two colors at the same time, any model.

Red interior = ricey. (Pimps: disregard.)

I can't understand why they haven't had any black car for show yet. It's really bothering me! The current Z4, in my opinion, doesn't suites in black. It covers all the lines and curves. For me the Z4 is all about the lines, but I would really like to have a black car next because my previous TT roadster was silver, and my current Z4 is sterling gray.

But I feel that I must see one in black before ordering so I can judge if the lines of the car vanishes as it does on the current one.

Damn! It will be as usual, space gray and red or white leather
