LCI Prices a lot higher?

I just did a quick configure with the same options as my 2020 and the price was close to $10k higher. Starting price is $122,300 before any options. Wow.

Same exact spec of my 21 X6MC was 127K, its now 137K- both prices included destination.

Basically you're paying 10K more for the same power but the new infotainment and the new engine/transmission

Agree, rather wait 2-3 years and get a used one, prices are nuts.

I just picked up a '21 X5M with 13k miles for $79K. In great shape, clean carfax and runs beautifully.

Yea prices have gone up. In early 21 a fully optioned MSRP X5M was 124 delivered and could be had for 111-115 after discounts with some leg work.

Inflation and the economy of “things” is probably partially a reason. I bet a small amount is also BMW realizing they produce the BEST bang for buck luxury performance SUV on the market. And decided they’re leaving a lot of money on the table.

That being said, even with the increase in price, the X5M and X6M are still the best performance per dollar option you can buy in this high of a luxury package. In my opinion it’s still the best option. Due to outdoing it’s competitors in almost every measurable segment at a lower price. If I didn’t all ready love the hell out of my pre-LCI, I’d probably still get it.
