892m wheels on '22 m40i what tires?

Anyone running 892m wheels on a 22 m40i. What all season tires do you suggest. The stock sizes 255/40/21 and 265/40/21 rear seems like a stretch. If you went bigger are you having issues ? Is It recommended? I have my 892m’s on the way. I’m also looking for good Tpms. Or at least a trusted brand

I just installed the 765m wheels on mine, which are the same size as the 892m. I went with 255/40 on the front and 265/40 on the rear, Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons. The ride on the Michelins is much better than the run-flat Pirellis that came on it.

As far as the TPMS goes, when I had mine installed, I just had them take the sensors out of my other wheels and put them in the new ones.

Are your 765m wheels 9.5” front and 10” rear like the 892m’s?

And that is the stock size tires I’m seeing but I feel like it’s a stretch. I spoke to one wheel guy and he said it’s a stretch too and another on said to stick with stock sizes. I’ve also seen some responses on this forum that said go with 265/40 front and 295/35 rear. Which sounds like it’ll do. Wanted to see if they had any issues thus far.

As far as tires go I’m getting a lot of reccomendations for the Michelin all season as well. I also see that pirelli makes a scorpion all season. All non RFT.

They sure are.

No issues for me on the tires. For what its worth, they don't look stretched at all to me, but I am not a tire guy, so I just went with the stock setup.

I know there is at least one person on here that has the same setup you are looking at doing (the 892m wheels). I believe they have posted in the wheels thread, but you'll have to dig back a bit.
