Question Question about Xdrive and tyres (tyre strech)

Hi,

I have little bit problem what tyres I can put in my 2014 F32 420Xd. I didnt found satisfactory answer for my question.
I really want to make a car nice looking, lowered with a tyre strech etc. but everyone said I can only use tyres as BMW said so its

Front 225/40/19 Rear 255/35/19
F 225/35/20 R 255/30/20
F 8j & R 8.5j et 36 et 47 19/20 inch the same.

How is it really? Im really afraid about spoil Xdrive but i want to put 19/20 inch wheels with really tiny tyre - maybe streched.

Is it a truth i have to put only tyres as BMW said? or is it truth the tyres only must be the same front and rear (mean diameter of the whole wheel)?

Of course tyres gonna be brand new.

Thanks!

1% or less difference in rolling diameter between front and rear is the rule everyone always cites.

This has to do with both wheel and tire fitment, which is why Bill linked you to the proper forum.

There are about a dozen websites that you input wheel sizes and it shows you the dimensions and changes, for example:
