uh oh- the brakes
The brakes on my car is starting to squeek alittle bit now whenever i brake real softly. It's not loud enough that you'll hear it everytime, but i'm suspecting something is wrong with it.
What could it be? I'm not a hard-driver and i never stomp on the brakes. There's 22,000 km on the car. Should i get this checked out? |

Could just be brake dust
Spray the discs and calipers with a bit of water then go for a drive

It squeaks for the first few braking action if the car had been washed the night before. I suspect it's the thin layer of rust that forms if the discs were not dried before I drive my car back into the garage.
If you can't live with that noise, bring it to the dealer an let them check it out. |
