That looks really good - and unique.

I know that "true" colors are hard to reproduce digitally - but BMW needs to do a better job on the individualizer. I've spent days looking at various individual paints (when I was going to go w a high spec G80) until I finally settled on violet blue. Finally saw a M4 in that color and it looked amazing, but nothing like the individualizer.

Same w your color - it looks basically black in the individualizer. (but really good in person) - that's a Uni paint right?

Yes, it's a Uni paint. I agree, the Individualizer does not do justice to most of the colors available. When I picked it up at the dealer, I was blown away with how complex the color looks in person. It's very dynamic and has a little purple in when it is in direct sunlight. Violet Blue is beautiful! If possible, please send me a picture of your car! Thanks again, and I hope all is well!

Sorry - I was planning violet blue on a full fat G80 - had most of the M performance parts on it, plus individual paint, M1000 wheels, M HAS, etc. Once I came to my senses and realized my G80 was stickering at 130k it was pretty easy for me to come back to the F90. Yes, I'm spending a little more here - but the market for 130k M3's is pretty small (in a declining economy). For the F90 I picked plain old Marina Bay Blue - same as I had on my 22 F90. But this time pairing it with Tartufo.

Hope we'll see more shots of your blue black!
