Did anyone figure out how to have the trunk open with the feet movement without having the physical key with you but only the Phone?

Digital Key Card or Phone Key only works on the driver door. It doesn't work for comfort access (proximity) like the keyfob does.

i think the iphone will act as proximity key if it has UWB.

i say i think because i have an S22 Ultra and can only use NFC even though the phone is capable of UWB. samsung and bmw need to sort it out.

Does your Samsung S22 ultra work as a digital key? I tried to to it today but the life of me. It won't pair. I saw some posts say that Samsung S22 series have not been added to the list of compatible devices to be digital key yet. If yours is working as a digital key, any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Works with my iPhone. I’ve never used the key outside of the first day when I added my phone.

Yes, but only as an nfc key. I need to hold it to the door handle to open the door and put it in the charging pad to start it.

So when I picked up my car, the genius set up my profile and the key, both of which ended up flaking on me, the car kept logging me in as guest and the phone wouldn't work as a key. I fixed both by wiping the profile, making sure the regular keys were working properly and the nfc key card was setup, then I setup my phone. All has been working fine since, about two months now.
