I have a 2017 340xi with 76k miles.When i'm going then less than 5mph and come to a stop the front of the car makes a clanking noise and I can feel it in the brake pedal. It also happens more often when I making a 3 point turn and the wheel is turned all the day. Not sure what it is. It's pretty loud

Do you have Blue m sport brakes?
and does it only happen once for each change in direction.

Ie, forward and brake CLONK
then reverse and brake CLONK, but not again on rebraking, only the one way

If it is, then I found on both my M sport brake cars, its the pads shifting with friction of the disc forward once, then when direction change, once backwards

yea it's like this but i don't have the blue m brakes. i have the regular ones but they are painted red
