Dark spots in ambient lights

Hi, I just got my MY23 X5 45E earlier this month and after 2 weeks drive, I noticed some uneven dark spots on passenger side ambient lights as shown in the picture. Most likely some LEDs on the light strip malfunctioned.

Does anyone encountered similar issues and will the dealership be covering something like this?

I've seen multiple posts about this. I think it is covered by warranty, but search for those older posts on here to see what they said about it.
